Hey folks..

Great turn out at the party on Friday night! It’s good to see people in normal clothes for a change.

Onto the workouts this week:

If you’re familiar with the girl workout “Grace”, you get to meet her brother, Curtis, on Monday.

Olympic strength/skill work falls on Tuesday this week. I’m hesitant to label it as ‘strength’ since so many people are still new to the Olympic lifts – the snatch and the clean and jerk. So use this time to hone in your technique, work on your mobility, and don’t worry so much about putting a heavy weight overhead.

Partner up for a kettlebell complex Wednesday.

Thursday, make sure your forearms are nice and warmed up. Get ready to pick up some heavy weight.

Round out the week we have back squats for strength on Friday with a nice little couplet to follow.

One last thing to mention is that is probably going to be the last week of 5 x 5. We will transition to 5 x 3 starting November 7th. So hopefully you’ve been tracking your weekly changes so you have a weight you can drop down to as your starting weight when we make the move.
