In the spirit of the CrossFit Games, we’ll be repeating some CrossFit Open workouts in anticipation of the Open starting up again Thursday, October 10th. Today’s was an unofficial workout from 2018, but we’re still counting it. Reps are alternating from the ground, and the DB switch can happen from the ground or anywhere from below the face and down. What that means is you can’t switch hands when the DB is overhead, you have to let it get to about shoulder height (re: past yo grill) before you can switch hands. Also, both ends of the DB need to touch the ground. This isn’t new, so there shouldn’t be any grumbling. Also, these aren’t “Games Standards” or “Open Standards” specific to an event, they are ‘movement standards’. It’s how you do it every time we do the movement. So.. do it like that. *shrug emoji*
