Look out for the August newsletter this week, we’ve got a few exercise exploration events coming up you’ll want to know about. Included is a Powerlifting Total that will be the culmination of our nearly 4 month focus on Bench, Squat, and Deadlift.

Don’t forget to eat lots of protein and veggies, and also GO TO BED.

The week ahead:

Monday – Building heavy on the bench. Then a quick WOD with Box Jumps and Toes to Bar

Tuesday – Handstand Practice, and a stretch that should help. Then, a longer WOD with power cleans, pull-ups, and running… actually my favorite combo, I’m sure you can tell.

Wednesday – Heavy Squats, then a EMOM with *mostly* strength movements and then rest

Thursday – Ring Push-Up Strength! Then a short-moderate long WOD with barbell and lunges.

Friday – Longer cardio-forward WOD with rowing, but lots of rest built in. We will do a Burpee OVER a piece of gym equipment you haven’t jumped over before. We’ve also got group mobility after this one.

Saturday – You already know. Partner WOD.
