Hey Old Cityzens!

I hope you’re excited for this week – not only because of Halloween on Wednesday, but for deadlifts that day! Be sure to dress up!

But before then we have our second girl WOD of the month coming up on Monday. We’ll be doing “Cindy”, which was the first workout we did when the gym opened up 5 years ago.


Brunch!

When: Sunday, Nov. 11th (Veteran’s Day)

Where: Medium Rare, 515 8th St, SE (on Barracks Row, near Eastern Market)

Speaking of Veteran’s Day weekend, there will be NO CHANGE to the schedule that weekend. As with Columbus Day weekend, we’ll maintain our normal class schedule all weekend even though Monday is a Federal holiday.

Looking ahead a little further, we have the holiday party on Saturday, December 15th at 8pm. Be sure to mark your calendars!

Monday
– Fun core work and “Cindy”

Tuesday – Snatches and overhead squats followed by a triplet with some hang power snatches.

Wednesday – Deadlifts + Halloween = fun time lifting.

Thursday – Double strength day of lunges and rows + max height box jumps

Friday – Long day.. with some running, thrusters and HSPU.

Saturday – Back squats. Just back squats. Hit that 1RM.

Sunday
– Open gym + gainz club + Hero WOD + Yoga
