Hey Old Cityzens!
I hope you all had a great weekend despite the COLD and then the RAIN. What’s going on?? It looks like things will start off cold this week, but warm up a *bit* with little chance for precipitation. Sorry for all you snow lovers, but if you love to get out and run, take advantage of clearer sidewalks.
Speaking of run… shout out to 6AM regulars Ken K and Jeff G for completing the Dopey Challenge this past weekend. This is 4 consecutive days of running, covering 48.6 miles – 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon.
Starting January 15th, you will need to have at least 1 vaccine dose to workout at Old City per the Mayor’s orders. Show your physical CDC vaccination card, a digital copy/photo of your CDC vaccination card, or a COVID-19 verification app, such as VaxYes or CLEAR, and you will be all set. If you have already received 2 doses, you will not have to show your vaccination card again. If you have only received 1 dose by Jan. 15th, we will follow up with you by February 15th to ensure you have received your 2nd dose, at which time, you would not need to show your vaccination card again.
Anyone that has not been vaccinated by the stated guidelines, or has not shown us their vaccination card by January 15th, will not be allowed in the gym until you do so.

Monday – Partner workout with rowing and toes to bar.
Tuesday – Pistol skill work with some push ups and snatches.
Wednesday – Double strength day with some hang cleans, push jerks, and Romanian deadlifts.
Thursday – Our second long workout with a “Fight Gone Bad” feel to it.
Friday – Back squats and bike sprints.
Saturday – Deadlifts, windmills, KB swings and lunges.
Sunday – Rest Day! Phew! Relax, and we’ll see you back in the gym tomorrow!
