I hope everyone had great weekend and enjoyed the winter and spring-like weather.


CrossFit Open

Congrats to everyone that tackled Open workout 23.2 this weekend. Shuttle runs and burpee pull ups – who predicted that couplet???

Reminder that scores are due by 8pm on Monday, and Coach Jen will have until Wednesday at 8pm to validate the scores.


Friday Night Lights

This Friday from 5:30-8:00pm we are hosting as event to get together as a community and cheer each other on for the final week of the CrossFit Open. Every one is welcome to participate, whether or not you are formally registered for the open. Be sure to reserve your slot in ZenPlanner. We will run it competition style – with a WOD brief, a warm up, and then running the workout in heats. BYO drinks/snacks to share. Even if not working out, or if you did the workout in the AM, please stop by to hang out and cheer on your fellow Old Cityzens!

 

March Newsletter
Keep an eye out for the March newsletter due to arrive in your inbox this Wednesday. It will have more information about other events including one for International Women’s Day, a mobility workshop, member spotlight, and an update on programming for the month.

 

Let’s see what’s coming up THIS week..

 

Monday – Long workout with biking, power cleans, and dips.

Tuesday – Front squats for 3 with a little tempo work followed by a triplet with double unders, air squats, and KB swings.

Wednesday – Deadlift for 3 followed by a hang power clean and push up couplet.

Thursday – Long workout of rowing and Turkish Get-Ups that shouldn’t be too taxing before 23.2. Get in and get moving!

Friday – CrossFit Open WOD 23.3. Announced Thursday at 3pm.

Saturday – TBD based on the 23.3 workout. Website and ZenPlanner will be updated Friday night.

Sunday – Rest Day! Phew! We also have Yoga at 10am and Gainz Club at 11am. Otherwise, try to relax a bit, and we’ll see you back in the gym tomorrow!
