Hey Old Cityzens!

I hope everyone is enjoying time with friends and family this weekend.

This has been a busy month with the final build up to our 1 rep max testing on the bench press, back squat, and deadlift. We also had the always entertaining Hanukkah and 12 Days Workouts. There’s one more to go with the 12/31 Workout coming up on Friday. You can also use this week and weekend to retest your 1RM lifts, or to get them in if you missed those days these last few weeks. Let’s wrap up the year on a BIG note!


Holiday Hours

Monday: Closed for Christmas
Tuesday – Saturday: Normal hours.. HOWEVER, no 5am classes on Wednesday and Friday.
Sunday: Closed, no yoga.
Monday: Closed for New Years Day.
Tuesday: Resume normal schedule.

MondayCLOSED. Enjoy the day with your family and friends.

Tuesday – Deadlift – sumo style for a change – with a 12 min AMRAP of SDLHP, sit ups, and double unders.

Wednesday – Double strength with push jerks and hang power cleans.

Thursday – Floor press for 8s with some Devil’s Press and air squats

Friday – NYE/End of the Year WOD. The rep scheme is much easier than the 12 Days WOD, but it still have 12 movements in it.

Saturday – Back squat with a triplet of bike sprints, KB swings, and wall walks.

Sunday – Rest Day! No yoga! Spend some time with family and friends today, and we’ll see you back in the gym on TUESDAY as we’ll be closed Monday for New Years Day.
