Happy Thanksgiving Friends, Team,

I add the “team” so often because it’s fun to think of yourself as an athlete. After all, athletes get to pile more on the plate! And if there was any doubt… if you stick with our programming, you are undoubtedly an athlete.

We’ve much to be thankful for this year, including you all, the amazing Old City community. It’s a beautiful thing to join together and WORK towards shared values (health and community).

Remember, we’re closed on Thursday and Friday. Only AM classes on Wednesday. The week ahead:

Monday – Strength Day. 6 working sets of back squat paired with explosive seated Box jumps. Then a push/pull match of Dips and Yates Row.

Tuesday – Our Thanksgiving WOD (given limited schedule and heavy travel on Wednesday), a minor tweak on our usual “Thanksgiving Sampler Platter.” I’ve kept the structural theme of a bit of everything, but tweaked the usual movements. Among other things, expect pull-ups, push-ups, lunges, barbell deadlift, barbell power clean, barbell overhead, Wall balls, sit-ups, and Burpees.

Wednesday – A Core EMOM up front, then a cardio heavy hero WOD, “Jerry.” Should take about 25-30 minutes.

Thursday – Closed. Eat and love and sleeeeeep. (PS, pay attention to Instagram and Facebook for any updates regarding an AM 5k)

Friday – Closed. Eat and sleep more. Buy some kettle bells and fitness shoes on Black Friday sales. Look good feel good they say.

Saturday – Bench and Bent over Row for Strength, longer Partner WOD.
