I hope you all had a great weekend! It was a bit chilly out, but I hope that didn’t stop you from going outside and getting some Vitamin D! You know what vitamin improves your eyesight? Vitamin ‘see’..*crickets*

Vaccine Mandate

Over a week ago, the vaccine mandate went into effect. You must show proof of vaccination before working out. Show your card or a picture of your card to a coach that you have at least received your first vaccine shot, and you’re good to go. Masks are still required, too.

 

Are you in the Open???

In just under 5 weeks is the start of the 2022 CrossFit Open. Starting February 24th, the first of five workouts will be announced. And this is the chance for EVERYONE to qualify for the CrossFit Games which will be held in August. Hey, even if you don’t have handstand push ups, a 300# deadlift, or a can’t snatch the 50# dumbbell.. THAT’S OKAY! The Open is still a great way to virtually compete against other members in the community around the world.

Let’s see what’s coming up this week..

 

Monday – Double strength day with a clean focus. You’ll also knock out some dumbbell presses and rows.

Tuesday – Long workout with pull ups, dumbbell step ups, and Devil’s press.

Wednesday – Back squat day with a kettlebell only workout. Can you hold on for 8 minutes??

Thursday – Heavy deadlifts. Oophh! And a workout with biking, burpees, and heavy carries will follow.. BUT it’s not for time.

Friday – Long partner workout today with rowing and heavy power cleans.

Saturday – Toes to bar skill work with some lunges and push ups in the triplet to follow.

Sunday – Rest Day! Phew! You made it! Relax, and we’ll see you back in the gym tomorrow!
