**Taking a break from the tempo work and hitting up some heavy back squats. Starting with 5s, but keeping you on the clock. The rest is key. These aren’t speed squats. So work within the time given for your set up, your reps, get in a few box jumps afterwards to fire up the CNS (central nervous system), then load up the bar for your next set.
The workout includes some explosive movements – high box jumps and dballs over the shoulder. Theses shouldn’t be too taxing after squats, but the higher jumps might take a little more thought before. Can you get 8+ rounds?
