**Oh hai, overhead! Haven’t seen you in a day. Ya.. how are your lats and shoulders feeling? Let’s take care of them and then put some weight overhead again.
Push press for 3s (we hit 5s on Mon, 1/25) and then some overhead pressing with dumbbells. Man Makers, person makers, human makers.. call them what you want, but it’s an all-inclusive and challenging dumbbell complex. Push up, renegade row, and a dumbbell cluster. And since we’re so used to moving in the same plane for core work, throwing in some Russian twists to mix things up a bit. Make sure you’re turning your body and not just reaching for the ground with the DB – that’s completely missing the rotational work that’s intended with the movement.
