3. Toes to bar progressions – 30 sec active/hollow hold hang, kipping ‘beats’ (small kip), lat pull ups/kipping lever, kipping knee raises, etc.

**Some new skill work to try out for our toes to bar skill day. This will test and challenge your hip flexors and hamstrings as we’ve been spending the past cycle working on core and positional work with the planche plank hold and hollow hold. You’ll still get some time on the bar with the progressions, which can be anything from lat pull ups that we’ve done in the past, cycling toes to bar, working on strict toes to bar – curling up or straight leg, and so much more. And you’ll be able to put this practice to use in Saturday’s workout.

If you feel like you’re missing out on core work- I got u! V-ups on tap for today, along with some solid scaling options. If you’re not able to rock the V-up, sometimes dropping the reps, or even doing one of the progressions is better for you since you’re still able to work on hollow body positioning and that quick *snap* necessary for the movement. And you’ll need that hip SNAP to get those DBs overhead for the Devils Press. Shoot for 6 rounds today.. 2 min/round.
