**Switching up the squat focused day from back squat to front squats for a couple weeks, along with increasing the volume — 10s today and then down to 8s the next week. This is a good time to add some additional upper back/tspine work and some lat foam rolling to improve that front rack position.

The workout is a modified version of Open workout 17.1 — we’re keeping the reps constant and box jumps sans burpee or going to the other side. This should get you in the competitive spirit since the time domain is set and you’re racing to get in as many reps as possible. Notice there is also a lot of hip extension with both movements, so we’ll hit some banded stretches afterwards to help you recover.
