Hey Old Citizens!
Oh, man! What a way to start off the CrossFit Open! That was a heckuva triplet – I hope you felt prepared for it. We’re still going to throw in a few Open Workouts from years past to keep you in that competitive mindset. Especially now that we have the walls painted for wall balls! Now the coaches can be 100% sure when they no-rep you if you didn’t get the right height. Woot!
So this week we’ve got some announcements coming up
First off, if you didn’t listen to David’s podcast with Sean last week – check it out! They start off talking a little about David’s sports and athletic background, and how he got into martial arts. I don’t want to tell his whole story for him, so you’re going to have to listen to the podcast to find out more about Coach David.
We’ll have another podcast released this Wednesday where Sean’s special guest will be his cousin Will Campbell. If you don’t know the man, the myth, the legend, then you probably haven’t enjoyed his tasty chickens and cows. Take a listen on the 28th and get on the mailing list for deliveries.
Also on Wednesday we’ll have our March newsletter sent out. Keep an eye out for that to see what’s in store for month with programming, which Girl WOD we’ll be doing, and more!

Let’s see what’s in store for this week..
Monday – Starting off the week with our double strength day – muscle snatches, from the hang, and overhead squats. Follow it up with some max work on the erg.
Tuesday – Getting in a little running with some work with the plate, something we don’t do that often, but plates can be used without the barbell.
Wednesday – Heavy back squats followed by a quick triplet.
Thursday – Snatches on Monday, so we’re cleaning and jerking today. Some more cleans in the workout as well as a gymnastics movement that will most likely be in one of the CrossFit Open workouts.
Friday – CrossFit Open Workout 18.2. Will be announced Wednesday at 8pm.
Saturday – Push presses as well as a workout similar to Fight Gone Bad.
Sunday – Today’s workout honors a fallen Canadian Constable.
