Heel elevated Goblet squats
**Starting the week off with our double strength day. As I mentioned in the newsletter, we’ll be alternating the Olympic lifts every week. We started off with the muscle snatch, then muscle cleans, and now we’re back to snatches. This week we’ll jump the bar overhead instead of muscling it there, and adding in an overhead squat. This will likely be your limiter on this couplet, so make sure you get in some mobility work between sets. The heavy double will be PS/OHS, PS/OHS.
Your quads looking a little smol? We’ll take care of that with these heel elevated squats. Those peeps doing Virtual Training with me see these every 3 weeks (and will be doing them tomorrow..) Every 2.5 minutes you’ll start a new round, six rounds in total. In that time you’ll do 20 reps, then rest the time remaining. I think the rest is the worst*.. but I say that from behind my computer and later behind the coaching stick.
