**Today’s workout is one that I’ll say ‘don’t think too much about it’. As I write it out, I’m stopping myself from getting wordy about explaining how to do the snatches – from the ground or hang or switch hands every other rep or don’t break them up, etc.
“But what about…” seems to be a common pre-321Go question. Look.. we want you to do work. Does it *really* matter if you step forward or backwards on lunges? Nah. Does it *really* matter if you stand up all the way when crossing over the box on box jump overs. Nah. This is my general thought — how do you move daily? You walk alternating steps, correct? So on lunges you might lean towards alternating steps to mimic walking. And when you take the stairs you step on each one vs going two at a time or jumping over them.. maybe? So jumping over the box, you would land on it before getting to the other side.
I realize there are some extreme cases, and I don’t want to go down the ‘but what about…’ path. However, going back to the alternating steps when you walk.. if there is anyone who takes 5 steps right leg, 5 steps left – I’m picturing some galloping here – plz post video and tag @oldcitycrossfit
