**Kicking Monday in the nuts with some back squats right off the bat. BOOM! We’re dropping the weight, but loading up the volume. Yes, the set of 20 reps is unbroken – once the barbell is removed from the rack, you put it back once all 20 squats have been completed. Just because the weight is “light” – I say that with caution as there some some 400# squatters – that doesn’t mean you can neglect form. I’d have to say you have to be just as careful with low weight/high volume squats as you do with high weight/low volume squats. Each rep should be as perfect as the one before. Hit depth, stand up (pause), repeat.
As with most squatting days, we follow it up with some sort of rowing movement. Normal double overhand grip today – no mix grips. Hook grip is okay.
