**This is the last of our ‘build series’ where you saw the reps increase by 2 every week for the back squat, deadlift, and double KB/DB press all while staying at an RPE of 8. Things will change up next Wednesday, but for now enjoy some hypertrophy work.
We’ll follow it up with an EMOM of thrusters with the reps increasing by 1 every minute. That sounds more pleasant than ‘Death by’
Minute 1, 1 rep
Minute 2, 2 reps
Minute 3, 3 reps..
..etc.. until you can no longer do any thrusters. If you get timed out – are unable to complete the number of thrusters in the current minute, you’ll rest 1 minute (round) then pick up with 3 reps/min until everyone has finished.
Workouts like these are very high volume, so we don’t do them all that often. Please choose your weights wisely to ensure a good workout and not death. *thumbs up emoji*
