5 RFT
50 Double unders
5 Bear barbell complex^ (135/95)
^1 BBC = Power clean, front squat, push press, back squat, behind the next push press.
**We are making some changes/exceptions to the Bear complex, so I can’t really call it “the Bear complex” in its true form.
-Normally you would be penalized if you put down the barbell before completing the 5 cycles, even if it’s just to regrip. That does not apply, but we still encourage you to get through the 5 with minimal breaks, usually taken after the BTN push press and right before the power clean to start the next cycle.
-No clusters allowed. Each movement needs a slight pause before moving onto the next. You can’t start the movement with a cluster (squat clean thrusters) or do a behind the next thruster as the back squat and behind the neck push press. Each movement is to be completed as one.
-No dropping the barbell, even from the hang. This policy isn’t new for most members as it has been in place since March/April of this year and has been on the whiteboard just as long. Have a hard time controlling the weigh down? Use a lighter weight.
