**The day starts with some strength work as we continue working on getting weight overhead. We’ve been alternating strict press and push press EMOM style, which will continue for a couple more weeks. This is a good chance to work on cycling the barbell, and doing so at a heavier weight.

The WOD has you going overhead again, but with a single dumbbell and in the form of a snatch. Normally we do this movement with two dumbbells, but this way will allow you to cycle through the movement a little faster, and maybe go with a heavier weight than you would if it were with 2-DBs. Again, the focus is on intensity of the workout, and if you have to stay at the same weight as you would if using 2-DBs, then do so. Try to avoid turning this into a strength workout – we already did that portion for the day.
