**Wrapping up our EMOM press series for the month with some strict press work. You’ll have 2 minutes to get in your 5 presses, add some weight, rest, then go again. Simple stuff, right? Oh, but the strict press can be a tricky movement. Only the upper body is moving, but that lower half still needs to be TIGHT, staying stable so the arms can do their thang. Stay vertical! We don’t want this to turn into a standing bench press were you start leaning back to get the weight overhead. Remember what I said about staying tight!
Workout is gonna be a doozy. A combo of weight, reps, and movement to keep in mind here. What weight can you move, move quickly, and complete the buprees in under 1 min, giving yourself enough rest to keep going for at least 10 minutes. Do you need to lower the weight? The reps? Be honest with your capabilities and scale appropriately.
