**Back to back Olympic movements – snatches Thursday and cleans on Friday. Heavy cleans, no less, and a lot of them! Again, it’s a heavy weight, and if this is too heavy, scale down to something that’s heavy but manageable – 90% of your 1RM. Did I say they should be heavy? Maybe not. This is something you need to stop and set up for, as if we were doing it during double strength day, so you don’t miss the lift. The burpees (stand up, Jordan and Bridget and Pat and all you other bent-over-jump/clappers) and pull ups are CrossFit, but this one rep is where you’ll work on your approach to the bar – feet under the bar, breathe, bend over and grab the bar, tension in the lats and hamstrings as you lower your butt… and lift. Even though we aren’t cycling reps, this is a good opportunity to work on regripping the bar as it comes out of the rack position.
