**Unlike the main lifts this week, for the Olympic movement this week we’ll be increasing in weight today. A quick terminology lesson – the hang squat clean is normally called the ‘hang clean’. Why? Whenever you clean the bar (pick it up from the ground), the squat is implied. So by saying ‘hang squat clean’, you’re being redundant.. so you’re really saying ‘hang squat squat clean’. Therefore hang squat clean –> hang (squat) clean –> hang clean. All the same, going left to right from least desirable to preferred.
