Hey folks..

A few quick administrative notes.

A reminder that we have the combined homebrew challenge and 3-year anniversary party on Friday (linked) at 8pm.

With that said, there will be no 7pm class on Friday, October 28th. So the last class of the day is at 6pm. Additionally there is no 8am class (linked)** that day as well..


Regarding workouts this week:

Olympic skill work to start off the week.

Work on your ankle mobility for some single leg skill work Tuesday.

If you missed Fran this past week, you’ll get to visit her evil step-sister Wednesday.

Back squats for strength on Thursday, which tends to be a rest day for most. If you miss any of the main strength days, remember you can make them up at open gym on the weekends. Also, as we increase weight each week, make sure you’re still hitting depth on the squat. If you’re not getting hips below the crease of the knee, don’t increase the weight and spend some time working on mobility.

Round out the week with a nice little triplet on Friday. Pick someone in the class and go mano a mano for fastest time.

And if you like cleans and jerks, be sure to make it Saturday.

If you plan on doing the Hero workout Sunday, a heads up as it contains a lot of deadlifts and we’ll be doing deadlifts on Monday for strength.
