Speaking of weekend.. we have a few weekend events coming up.

First, Oly Meet on Saturday, March 31stSIGN UP! And selecting that you’re ‘going’ or ‘interested’ in the FB Event isn’t the same as signing up – using the second hyperlink.. y’know, the one that says ‘sign up’.

The newest event is the Full Moon Hike at the National Arboretum on Saturday, April 28th.

There are some other events coming up that I’ll mention in a couple weeks, but not too close to them so you have time to sign up. There’s usually a few mentioned on the Community Page, so keep an eye out there.

– Take something from the bins near the coaches desk – you want it? It’s yours. Was it yours and you don’t want it? Throw it out. Want to helps us not be the bad guy(s)? Just throw something out so we can finally be rid of that stuff. Don’t the cubbies look nice? Let’s try to keep it that way.

– Podcast – you can still listen or watch our Top Ten at your leisure.

– My blog series Jen Does Stuff (JDS) will have a new post this week.. talking about my training weekend that just wrapped up. The ups and downs and learning to see the positive in a rough day. I’ll have pics and videos on my Instagram page that I’ll link to in the blog post.

– CrossFit Open WOD 18.5 wraps up on Friday.. THANK. GOD!! I mean. woohoo.. yah.. one more workout.. omg the last 5 weeks went by sooo fast. Announcement Thursday at 8pm on the CrossFit Games website or Facebook page.

I think that’s it.. am I missing anything?? No?

Okay, good. Now let’s see what we’ve got coming up this week..

Monday – No strength, BUT that doesn’t mean you won’t get stronger. A little variation on the hero WOD “DT” today.

Tuesday
– Now we get strong.. clean and jerk. Stop yawning at its repetitiveness – it’s for a reason ^^^ This is our double strength day, and we’ll introduce the Yates Row – vid coming in the daily post.

Wednesday
– Snatch grip DL – it’s been awhile for this one (Jan 15th, it looks like) – with some extra snatching in the triplet to follow.

Thursday – Taper back squats if you’re planning to do the Oly meet, followed by a chipper of sorts that hopefully doesn’t include any movements in 18.5 pleaseohpleaseohplease Just some easy gymnastics work, KBs, and sprinting.

Friday – CrosssFit Open WOD 18.5 THE END!!

Saturday – Snatching day and KB day.

Let’s have another great week and wrap up the 2018 Open season on a good note.
