The 2022 CrossFit Open starts on THURSDAY! We’ll be doing the workout in each class on Friday. The workouts are announced Thursday at 3pm EST, and you have until 8pm on Monday to submit your scores.

 

Weekly Round-Up

A quick list of things that have been mentioned in previous posts, but need a quick repost so they don’t get overlooked.

Regular Schedule on Monday – Monday is President’s Day – a federal holiday – but there are no changes to the schedule. And the noon class has been full since 5pm. Get on that wait list, which is already 2 people deep!

– Keep up to date with our Facebook Group. You’ll see the latest announcement about adding 1 open gym spot to each class. You can register for one open gym slot per day.


Let’s see what’s coming up this week..

 

Monday – Pistols skill work, but NO pistols in the workout. You’ll still get in some unilateral/single leg work with some push ups and thrusters.

Tuesday – Double strength day with touch and go power cleans and push press. Look for some changes to this day next month.

Wednesday – Long workout with weighted sit ups, single arm KB swings, and box jumps.

Thursday – Back squats – sets of 5s and 2s, followed by some 40/20 (work, rest) of handstand holds, hanging from the rig, and dball holds.

Friday – CrossFit Open WOD 22.1. We’ll find out Thursday at 3pm what the workout will be for today.

Saturday – Long workout with deadlifts, burpees, and wall balls. Fingers crossed these don’t show up in Friday’s workout!

Sunday – Rest Day! Relax, and we’ll see you back in the gym tomorrow!
