2+ Power snatch – 115/75

**I hope you aren’t tired of power snatches after 19.4 on Friday. No? Good! Because we’re upping the intensity by adding a little more weight to the bar, increasing the reps by 2 each round, and making you hold onto the barbell. Yup. Working on some barbell cycling today.

The double under reps stay the same, but the snatches increase as 2-4-6-8-10, etc. For this particular workout, the reps will be done in pairs. Unlike when we do snatches or complexes for a heavy double, usually on double strength day, and we say you can drop/set the bar down and reset your position/grip.. this time I want you to touch and go. If you can do the reps of 2-4-6 unbroken.. have at it. Afterwards — 2s. On the round of 6 snatches, 4/2 is okay, but 5/1 is not. Make sense? Am I over-explaining it? Most likely. Will you follow instructions? I certainly hope so. The weight might no look terrible, but your shoulders will start feeling those double unders, as will your legs. If you felt comfortable with the weight you used for 19.4, stick with that and work on solid technique.
