Happy Holidays Old Cityzens!

First off, reminder that there are some minor changes to the schedule this week starting Monday through next Monday. See the full schedule HERE on the website. We will be back to normal on January 3rd.

With the start of a new year on the horizon, most people use this time of year for reflection. It’s a chance to look back to see how far you’ve come in your CrossFit journey. Did you get your first muscle up during the CrossFit Open? Were you able to do a workout Rx? Did you get that first double under, or string together more than 2? It might not even be performance based, but doing workouts 4x a week instead of 3x or improving your hamstring mobility. Now is also a chance to build on your achievements and set higher goals for the coming year. But be sure to make SMART goals. Check out this blog post about setting SMART goals for yourself.

Onto the week ahead..

Monday – Only 1 class at noon, and it’s a doozy of a team workout. Bring your workout buddy!

Tuesday – Learn to love those dumbbells and moving AFAP*

Wednesday – Olympic lifting day. Snatches!

Thursday – Clean, squat, press.. light and heavy. Be ready!

Friday – Coach’s Challenge Workout!! Bring your jump rope (did you get one for Christmas??) and be ready to beat the clock. Show up and find out what the Challenge is all about.

Saturday – Let’s get that first rope climb before 2016 is up.
Also, no bikes in the gym today. If you bike to class, lock up at the end of the alley by Chupacabra.
